Medway Democratic Town Committee

About

Medway has a population of approximately 13000.  Unlike Massachusetts overall, 1/4 of the enrolled voters are Democrat, 1/4 are Republican and about 1/2 are unenrolled.  The town committee represents Medway at state conventions, and supports Democrats at elections.

The State Convention is scheduled for June 4 and 5 in Worcester

State Government Representation:

  • Karen Spilka  represents Medway in  the Massachuesetts Senate .  Karen Spilka has fought and won many battles for Medway interests.
  • Jim Vallee represents precincts 2, 3 and 4 of Medway in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.  His campaign link is www.votejimvallee.com.   Jim Vallee has effectively helped Medway with state issues.
  • Carolyn Dykema is the Democrat running for Precinct 1 of Medway in the Mass. House of Representatives.  Carolyn lives in Holliston, and will make a great representative for Medway.  Her commitment to Education, the Economy and the Environment are inline with Medway's Democratic interests. 

National Government Representation:

  • Jim McGovern represents Medway in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Jim McGovern has been an outspoken critic of the war in Iraq, as well as most of the other Bush administration fiascos.
  • John Kerry represents MA in the U.S. Senate.  John Kerry is running for re-election and deserves all our support for his hard work for Massachusetts and the country.  His campaign website is www.johnkerry.com
  • Scott Brown is the other senator.
