The following information on the MA races that Medway Democrats can vote for is from www.massbeacon.com. Information on the state senate races and congressional races is not up to date on this site. Please email us if you have any better info - especially any specifics about what candidates have accomplished for Medway! Governor: Deval Patrick is the candidate for re-election. Governor Patrick has done a lot for Medway with highway funding, and maintaining state money directed to towns in his role as Governor. Other candidates are Republicans: Charlie Baker, Christy Mihos, Independent: Tim Cahill, Green-Rainbow: Jill Stein
Lieutenant governor: Tim Murray is the candidate for re-election, and he is running with Governor Deval Patrick. He is unopposed by any Democrats. Other candidates are Republican: Richard Tisei, and Independent: Paul Loscocco
Secretary of State: Incumbant Bill Galvin is unopposed by Democrats. Other candidates are Republican: William Campbell and Independent: Jim Henderson
State Auditor is currently Joe DeNucci. He is retiring after 20 years of service. Democratic Candidates are: Suzanne Bump, Guy Glodis, Mike Lake. Republican Candidates are Mary Connaughton, Kamal Jain
Treasurer: Tim Cahill is running for Governor as an independant. The Democratic Candidates are Steve Grossman and Steve Murphy. I can't find Steve Murphy's campaign website - only his facebook page. The Republican Candidate is Karyn Polito.
Attorney General: Martha Coakley is running for reelection as an unopposed Democrat. Her Republican Candidate is Jack E. Robinson
Congressional: Jim McGovern is running again for the U.S. Congress as our 3rd Massachusetts District Representative. Jim has done wonderful work for Massachusetts, and our area. He has no Democratic opponent. His Republican Candidates are Robert Chipman, Robert Delle, Marty Lamb , Michael Stopa and Brian Herr. His Independant opponent is Patrick Barron.
Karen Spilka is running for reelection to the State Senate. She has done a great job for Medway. CLICK HERE and HERE for specific aid she has brought to Medway!
Carolyn Dykema is running for reelection as Mass. House of Representatives. She represents Holliston and Hopkinton; parts of Medway, Southborough and Westborough: http://www.carolyndykema.com/ Carolyn Dykema represents PRECINCT ONE in Medway, and has worked hard to support Medway's interests and needs.
Jim Vallee represents Precincts 2, 3, and 4 of Medway in the Mass. House of Representatives. He is running unopposed for reelection. Jim has been a strong supporter of Medway.
